Diamond Dog Tour Memorabilia Lot 23:
David Bowie, 'Diamond Dogs' rare tour memorabilia

A collection of five items to include: Two circular laminated lapel badges (as worn by Bowie's backstage staff in the BBC documentary Cracked Actor). A one-page RCA Records tour invoice for travel billing, including amounts for two of David's train journeys. Two promotional colour photos of Guy Peellaert's artwork (LP cover and promo poster artwork). A black and white postcard of Terry O'Neil's Diamond Dogs cover photo session. One MainMan black and white promo photo of Bowie on stage during the Diamond Dogs tour. Original one-page Jules Fisher Associates invoice requesting payment for items including Three models of David Bowie (stage) set and duty paid on 29 hats for David Bowie - $140.00 with annotations by Mainman. A Madison Square Garden four-page programme, printed on pages one and three, printed on buff stock together with Diamond Dogs unopened Ryko long box, issued in 1990. (5).

The contract lists band members Tony Visconti, Mike Ronson, Michael Woodmansey (misspelt Woodlandsley). Dated 3.4.70 and signed by a Philips representative (not signed by band).

A Television Motion Picture Artist' Manager Contract Signed by David Bowie, Michael Ronson, Trevor Bolder and Michael Woodmansey on August 30 1972, in anticipation of their first US tour. Four pages on blue stock.

To include: A post tour petty cash voucher, clearly signed Bowie, dated 3rd August 1973. Aladdin Sane programme with loose colour fold-out David Bowie fan club application. Tour crew pass in laminated holder, authorised with original signature by Tony Defries. Fan club magazine (number one, issued in late 73) comprising 28 pages, mostly colour together with Aladdin Sane unopened Ryko long box, issued in 1990. (4).

David Bowie 'Philly LP (Young Americans)' and Soul Tour memorabilia

To include: A Radio City Music Hall one-sheet programme for concerts between 30.10.74 and 3.11.74. (includes photos of complete Bowie backing group including Luther Vandross - his first major tour, David Sanborn and Earl Slick etc.). A one-page Hit Factory studio invoice for Philly album (Young Americans), for mixing of LP. David Bowie Diamond Dogs tour 1974 Ohio Holiday Inn eight-page statement itemising payment for six rooms, including rooms for David, Corinne Schwab and Herbie Flowers and two (including David's), personally approved by tour manager Eric Barrett. All four pages feature original accounts annotation together with a Diamond Dogs unopened Ryko long box, issued in 1990. (4).
