Kali Juggernaut
by Nevada Kerr

In her meteoric trail
Armoured demons shatter
A coagulum of legs and arms
Dissolving in the splatter
All their forward lines
Bend like acquiescent curves
No more ballast in their brains
To stiffen withered nerves
When Durga's avatar takes form
The whirling dervish swerves

From the formless void
She grows cutting fingers
Scrawling cryptic ciphers
Where curdled augurs linger
Her stone fossil talons
Tear a windless sail
Her hair unbound sends forth
Comets in a hail
Argonauts and flyers
Perish in her gale
